Notes: The main show is the Danish fanclub gig at Pumpehuset, which was broadcast on Danish radio. The three bonus tracks from Roskilde are also taken from a radio broadcast, very nice sound on those aswell. Nice design professionally done, back sleeve states "Printed in Hungary limited edition of 400 copies". The cd itself is yellow and it says "Manufactured and distributed in Australia by C.O.D. Notes: The first four tracks, up to and including "Brass In Pocket" (originally recorded for NME's Ruby Trax charity album) are fair, but a marked change comes at the start of "The Next Life" when the quality increases appreciably. Overall, the rest of the songs are very good. The track "To the Birds" is not listed on the sleeve, but is present on the disc.

The rear sleeve of the CD booklet shows a live snap of Brett singing, while the booklet itself contains a series of snaps of Brett, Matt, and Simon in a various different, semi-provocative poses. The clear CD tray is underlayed by a snap of Brett taking off his jacket, while the back sleeve of the package features an earlier group shout with Bernard, along with the track listing.

Running Time: 55m02s
CD Price: $ 22.00
Notes: Recorded live at the RPM Warehouse in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on February 17th, 1995, this recording was originally aired on the CBC radio program "Real-time" in mid March, almost exactly one month after the gig. This recording that appears here, however, apparently wasn't recorded from the radio, but rather the master was somehow obtained and copied because the running time is slightly longer than that of the aired show. Needless to say, the mix is excellent, as is the set list. Along with the "Performance" CD bootleg, this is and excellent disc with which to start your Suede bootleg collection.

Running Time: 67m57s
CD Price: $ 25 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: The 1993 Manchester show featured here is excellent quality, and is surely one of the best bootleg Suede recordings. The show was actually broadcast locally in the London area to mark the shutdown of a popular radio station, which accounts for the "mixing desk" quality. The same show also appears of the "Strange Fascination" CD bootleg. The studio demos are fairly lame, yet offer good insight into the "darker" earlier sound of Suede. Of interest to collectors is the fact that the A-side from the very rare UK "Be My God/Art" 12" is included here under its alternate title (C'mon C'mon C'mon). It is difficult to tell, but this version may actually differ slightly from the 12" version. The two demo versions of "To The Birds" is not a mistake. The two page booklet that comes with the CD features two full color shots, one of Brett, and the other of the entire band.

Running Time: 73m30s
Notes: A collection of B-sides, rarities, demos and cover versions. This might be a decent compliment to "Sci-Fi Lullabies" although I don't understand why they included "This Time" because it was on "Sci-Fi Lullabies". Most people will probably want this because of the 4 covers. All tracks are studio versions except where noted. The version of "My Insatiable One" included here is not the piano version and "Popstar" is not a demo version like it says on the sleeve. Be warned that some copies only have the first 6 tracks, so make sure you check the CD before you buy it.

Running Time: 74m12s
Notes: This is the only bootleg currently available which brings together some of Suede's TV material, and the only one to feature the very hard to find tracks "Wonderful Sometimes" a early demo released 1990 on the cassette "What the world is waiting for", also included are "Be My God" and "Art" the bands first white label, featuring Mike Joyce from the Smiths on drums and Justine Frischman on bass (Simon Gilbert hadn't joined Suede yet). All three appear here in excellent quality. Another highlight is the well recorded Brit Awards version of "Animal Nitrate" which is played in such a way that it seems like it's going to fly apart at any second. One should note that not all of the TV material is in stereo. The Late Show and Tonight Show appearances are non-stereo and consequently quite poor. The rest of the disc, however, is well worth the money. The two page CD booklet features an early shot of Brett live at the "100 Club" on September 15th, 1992, and a black and white photo of Brett (taken in his flat at Notting Hill) is displayed underneath the clear CD tray. The disc itself is red.

The booklet itself contains the same band picture stretched over both pages. Notes: This Hollywood Life is listed under its working title "Trashy" and Still Life is wrongly titled "The Asphalt Work" on the track listing. The show described as "Holland, 1995" is taken from a Radio broadcast. The songs "The 2 of US" and "New Generation" has been cut from this release, you can hear a fade out after "Metal Mickey" if you listen carefully. The entire set can be found on "There's a Staaaar Man (Volume 2)" CD Bootleg. The other show can also be found on several other bootlegs.

Notes: Recorded somewhere in Europe, 1993. Thanks to Gwen Pelletier I now have colour copies and a tape of this bootleg. The quality a bit worse than an average bootleg. Notes: This CD bootleg was one of the earlier ones on the market. The Newcastle show tracks are of very good quality, and were clearly recorded off a mixing desk. The tracks from the London show, however, are very poor, and include possibly the harshest version of "The Drowners" ever performed. Basically, buying this disk means listening to only the first seven tracks. Furthermore, the entire Newcastle performance can be found on several other CD bootlegs were it is supplemented by higher quality audio from other shows. Notes: All tracks were recorded from the soundboard at the Rolling Stone Club in Milan, Italy, November 13th, 1994. The sound quality is excellent, and this may possibly be the first CD bootleg to feature the new Suede concert set including numerous tracks from the "Dog Man Star" album. The track "This Hollywood Life" is not listed on the sleeve, but is present on the disc. What makes this disc worth getting is the wild version of "So Young", and the acoustic "Still Life" encore. Brett talks a lot between the songs, and at one point he says "Here's a song from our new album Old Mans Car".

Running Time: 68m11s
CD Price: $ 22.00
Notes: This CD bootleg is quite simply a "must have", and features one of the best bootleg recordings anywhere. The entire show was taken from a 1FM recording, and just rocks. Performed around the time of the release of "Stay Together", this is the second last show with Bernard, and features Suede "road-testing" new material which was to appear on the "Dog Man Star" album. "My Heroine" has since been re-titled "Heroine", while "Losing Myself" and "Trashy" have since become "New Generation" and "This Hollywood Life" respectively. As a bonus, the three brilliant tracks from Later have been added, and are mistakenly credited as being recorded "live on tour in 1993". The CD booklet contains a few more color snaps of the band live (with the notable exclusion of Bernard photos), and the disc is also printed with a picture of Brett. The clear CD tray reveals an underlying live photo of Brett. The main show can also be found on "Why Did He Go?" CD Bootleg.

"Together" is mistakenly titeled "Stay Together" on the tracklist. The song "Young Men" is listed on the tracklisting but is not present on the disc. Notes: This CD bootleg comes in possibly the nicest packaging for a CD of this type, and the music doesn't disappoint either. The first series of tracks is drawn from the superbly recorded Manchester 1993 show (see notes for "Drown To A Popular Tune"), and another complete Manchester show of high quality rounds out the package. The second Manchester show, recorded at the "Boardwalk on June 8th, 1992", and broadcast on "The New Sessions, July 24th, 1992", is of equal quality, but is a little murky. This last show also appears on the "High Hopes" CD bootleg. Disregard the quote on the back of the disc that suggests all tracks were recorded in 1992. CD Price: $ 22 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: The version of "Be My God" that appears here is not of the highest quality, and you can hear crackling from the record. The demos are fair, but some are distinctly low-fi. What makes this disc worth getting are the live tracks from the Brixton Academy show. The sound is INCREDIBLE, and everything is nicely mixed, including the audience noise which is faded out as each song starts. The most probable thing is that they have taken the show from the Japanese laser disc "Love & Poison".

Running Time: 50m14s
CD Price: $ 18 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: This disc features the full set from the Glastonbury festival 1993. The sound quality is great, and were clearly recorded off a mixing desk. The track listing on the sleeve is totally wrong, for example it says that "My Insatiable One" is the first song. On this show Suede premiered the now famous track "Still Life", it's the acoustic version of the song. A funny thing about the inner-sleeve is the four pictures of the band members with their names written next to the pictures; they managed to get Brett, Bernard and Mat right. But next to the picture of Simon Gilbert they have written Mike Joyce.

Track Listing: This Hollywood Life, We Are The Pigs, Together, The Wild Ones, Metal Mickey, The 2 of Us, So Young, Heroine, Still Life, New Generation (live in Holland 1995) The Wild Ones, So Young, Together, Heroine (live in Bristol, Colston Hall, January 27th, 1995) The Next Life ("bonus track")
Running Time: 59m31s
CD Price: $ 28 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: The Holland part is the same that appears on "Holland vs. Scotland" but there are some differences, which makes it hard to figure out which concert it is taken from. The sound is clearer on this CD and there are two more songs, "The 2 of Us" and "New Generation". The track "Still Life" has been wrongly titled "The Asphalt World". The show is taken from either Utrecht or Groningen, probably Utrecht. The "Bristol, Colston Hall" recording is part 2 (of 2), the first part can be found on "There's a Staaaar Man (Volume 1)". The last track "The Next Life" also appears on several other bootlegs.
Catalogue No./Label: Nude 101
Format: European CD
Release Date: 1995
Sleeve: The white front sleeve features the covers from all of the singles from which material was drawn for the disc, and the reverse shows a grayish tinted photo of the "Dog Man Star" album cover. The back insert is also white, and features the disc track listing in red, along with a boy standing above a broken piano. The clear CD tray is underlain by a picture of a group of boys with their faces covered, and nooses around their necks.
Track Listing: Where The Pigs Don't Fly, He's Dead, My Insatiable One, To The Birds, Painted People, The Big Time, My Dark Star, Stay Together, Killing Of A Flashboy, Whipsnade, Modern Boys, This World Needs A Father, Together, Bentswood Boys, Stay Together (radio edit), My Insatiable One (piano version)
Notes: This bootleg release is a God send for newer fans who haven't been able to find originals of the earlier material. It covers almost all of the B-sides released on singles from "The Drowners" to "New Generation", with the exception of "Dolly", "High Rising", "Asda Town", "Eno's Introducing The Band" and the three live tracks from the second "New Generation" single. Don't be fooled by the catalogue number; this is NOT an official release, and the use of the "Nude" name is possibly fraudulent. All in all, however, it is a good collection, though made somewhat reduntant by the release of "Sci-Fi Lullabies".

Format: CD
Release Date: 1997 (?)
Sleeve: A Picture of Brett smoking a cigarette (taken from Coming Up).
Track Listing: Trash, Together, The Wild Ones, By The Sea, She, Lazy, New Generation, Filmstar, Saturday Night, Europe is our Playground, Animal Nitrate, Young Men, Heroine (live at the Midfyn Festival, Ringe, Denmark, July 5th, 1996) This Hollywood Life, We Are The Pigs, Killing Of A Flash Boy, Animal Nitrate, The Wild Ones (live at Rockefeller, Oslo, Norway, November 28th, 1994)
Running Time: 73m09s
CD Price: $ 19 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: This CD features the complete set from Suede's show at the Midfyn festival, one of the first show with songs from the "Coming Up" album. As a bonus we are treated with five tracks from their Oslo concert in 1994. The Midfyn festival show is wrongly dated to 12 June 1996 on the sleeve. The Midfyn festival tracks are taken from a recording by the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation, P3 who also recorded the live b-sides for the "New Generation" Cd-2. Between "Lazy" and "New Generation" a Swedish radio jingle is heard. The sound quality of the show is excellent. The sound quality of the Oslo show is also very good, but it could have been faded out a bit earlier as the last thing that is heard is the introduction of a new song. "Together" is mistakenly called "Stay Together" on the track listing.

CD Price: $ 22 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: "Picnic By The Motorway" is wrongly titeled "Such A Lovely Tune" and "Europe Is Our Playground" is wrongly titeled "Run With Me Baby (London Is Our Town)?" The date of the Maida Vale Studio appearance is also wrong. The 5 tracks from Maida Vale Studio can also be found on "Rising Camp". Quality is good on both shows.

Format: United Kingdom CD
Release Date: 1997
Sleeve: A live picture of Brett.
Track Listing: Interview exerpts with Simon & Brett, then Mat.
Running Time: 31m20s
CD Price: 110 sek (Skivhugget, Sweden)
Notes: The sound quality is quite poor, this is an item for die-hard fans/collectors only. It's not as good as "Interview (The unauthorised edition)". There is a lot of background noise which makes it a bit difficult to hear what's being said. The disc itself is a picture disc with the same image that is on the sleeve. This picture is also displayed underneath the clear CD tray. The liner notes can be folded out to a color mini poster of Brett (6 times as big as a CD cover) and you also get 9 small stickers (3 Suede, 3 Blur, 2 East Seventeen and 1 Ash). The liner notes contain some boring text and a few old pictures of Brett, Simon and Mat.

Running Time: 72m01s
CD Price: $ 25 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: This bootleg brings together a series of demos which can be found on other bootleg releases with a live recording unique to this release. The Cambridge Junction show is a little on the quiet side, and despite the fact that the vocals are clear, the music is somewhat unclear and low on bass.

Format: Italian CD
Release Date: 1994
Sleeve: A poor, digitized black and white photo of Brett, live at the "100 Club" on September 15th, 1992. The rear sleeve features the same type of digitized photo, except this time of Brett standing.
Track Listing: The Next Life, Moving, Animal Nitrate, My Insatiable One, Metal Mickey, Pantomime Horse, The Drowners, Painted People, She's Not Dead, So Young, Sleeping Pills, To The Birds
Running Time: 46m59s
CD Price: $ 19 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: All tracks recorded live at "The City Square" in Milan, Italy, Fall 1993. The quality is quite poor, yet not intolerable. Really an item for die-hard fans only. The two page booklet that comes with this release contains more crummy digitized black and white pictures, and the CD tray, which is clear, is underlain by the same photo as on the rear sleeve. The picture off the front sleeve is printed on the CD.
Catalogue No./Label: SOS-004 (Shot Of Salvation)
Format: CD DDD
Release Date: 1994
Sleeve: One sided with a picture of Brett leaning against a wall.
Track Listing: Pantomime Horse, This Hollywood Life, We Are The Pigs, Animal Nitrate, Heroine, My Insatiable One, He's Dead, Metal Mickey, New Generation, She's Not Dead, Sleeping Pills, Stay Together (live at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom, February 11th, 1994) The Living Dead, My Insatiable One (Taken from The Mark Radcliffe Sessions, February 8th, 1994)
Running Time: 64m31s
CD Price: $ 25 (Tunnel Records)
Notes: Because it was recorded before the release of Dog Man Star, the lyrics are sometimes not the same as on the album. The most interesting track is "Stay Together", though the recording quality of it is the worst of the 14 songs. The two last tracks which are both acoustic are simply fabulous, you can tell that Brett and Bernard enjoyed the show. The main show can also be found on "Performance" CD Bootleg. The sound quality overall is good.
