It has also been brought to my attention that this release comes as part of a promo pack, which also contains a 3-trk promo video and promo photo, and comes housed in a special box. The promo video includes the videos for "We Are The Pigs" and "The Wild Ones", and also includes Suede's Top Of The Pops appearance from 1994 which features them lip-synching to "Stay Together". The promo photo is the same as from the inside sleeve of the disc, but is tinged purple and yellow instead. All the items come in a purple-yellow box which has quotes from magazine reviews on the back, and the 1995 US "Dog Man Star" tour dates printed on the inside. It has also been brought to my attention that some copies of the CD come in a purple jewel case.

Release Date: 1995
Sleeve: A black and white photograph of the entire band, close up.
Track Listing: New Generation (edit), The Power, Still Life, The Wild Ones (live)
Notes: To begin, the disc comes in a cardboard sleeve featuring a nice black and white snap of the band on the front, and the disc itself bears the "nude" label in peach color. The edit of "New Generation" is unavailable elsewhere, while "The Power" and "Still Life" appear here as the album versions. The live version of "The Wild Ones" is the same as that found on the limited edition CD digipak release of the "New Generation" single featuring other live tracks. The disc comes packaged with a large 12" color book filled with photos of the band, a brief bio, a brief discography, a tour personel list, etc. The cover of the book features a glossy black and white photo of the band framed by a mat finish border with "Suede" written on it in raised letters. The book in turn comes housed in a black, mat finish 12" sleeve which also has a large "Suede" logo written on it in raised letters. If you run across this item still sealed in the original shrink-wrap, you'll find a sticker on the upper left hand corner of the item listing the Europe spring 1995 tour dates. All in all, an item definitely worth tracking down!
Label/Catalog No.: nude/Columbia CK 66769 01
Format: US CD
Release Date: 1994
Sleeve: A plain white cardboard slip-cover with a sticker of "The London Suede" pasted on the front.
Track Listing: Introducing The Band, We Are The Pigs, Heroine, The Wild Ones, Daddy's Speeding, The Power, New Generation, This Hollywood Life, The 2 Of Us, Black Or Blue, The Asphalt World, Still Life, Modern Boys
Notes: This promo CD was issued to a handful of people as a preview of the then
to be released "Dog Man Star" album. The disc itself is entirely black, with the
track listing written circularly around the outer edge. The plastic disc spinneret has the
band name, album title, and song credits printed on it in small black letters. It would
appear that only 50 copies of this promo were pressed judging from the following write-up
pasted onto the back of the sleeve:
"Darling...
You are one of 50 people who have very something special indeed. The new long player from
The London Suede, entitled Dog Man Star. You are getting this advance disc because I need
you to hear the entire album. Now. It will confound your expectations, whether you are a
hard core fan of the band's previous work or not. Our first single is "The Wild
Ones" (track #4), but there isn't a song on this album I wouldn't recommend.
Other moments:"Asphalt World", "Hollywood Life", "Introducing The
Band", and "New Generation". An edit of "The Wild Ones" arrives
at radio October 13th. The album will be available to the public from October 25th. Also
on October 25th at 11pm Eastern, tune into Modern Rock Live from London with the London
Suede and Big Audio. -TODD N' MARC"
The grammatical errors in this paragraph are exactly as written on the sleeve.
Copies of this release without the above
paragraph also exist.

Track Listing: Saturday Night (edit), Animal Nitrate, Metal Mickey, Trash, Stay Together, The Drowners, Lazy, We Are The Pigs, New Generation, Beautiful Ones, So Young, The Wild Ones
Notes: Around the same time as Saturday Night's chart success, a very limited numer of 12 track Suede Cds were distributed to taste makers in Germany and other parts of Europe. Imaginatively titeled "Singles" and housed in a somewhat dull sleeve complete with the wrong logo, this nevertheless has to be one of the most sought after Suede releases around as it's basically the Greatest Hits that the band have valiantly resisted issuing so far. Featuring all 12 of Suede's singles (including the radio edit of Saturday Night) from The Drowners to Lazy in a seemingly random but aurally pleasing order, the CD came packaged with the Tour Programme making it a package to die for.
