mat osman – st steven’s, haywards heath

woodwork
matthew’s project for this term was to build a bird table. he carried out the task with aptitude and demonstrates great manual dexterity. he needs to work on scale, however. his bird table was 7 feet tall, so next term he would do well to further his understanding of ergonomics.

english
though a somewhat quiet member of the class, mat produces some very good work.

pe
mat has excelled himself this term in high jump and long jump, and is an enthusiastic member of the school’s basketball team.

chemistry
mat carries out the work set out for him to a high standard, yet is reluctant to join some of his other classmates in their more experimental approach to this subject.

music
mat has performed well this term, but he has not completed a composition for us yet. however, i am glad to note that out of school time he performs in beat combo ‘jed’.
