alex lee – st goldies, bristol

tutor’s general remarks
alex joined us late in the term, yet has settled in very well with his new classmates. we had heard such praises sung about him by his teacher’s at st patrick’s, so it is deeply pleasing that he continues to work well in his new environment.

biology
this term we have been studying the human reproductive system, which alex has shown a great interest in. alex also produced an excellent marine ecology project based around the life cycle of goldfish.

music
alex is very devoted to this subject and has worked very well this term on songwriting and performance. it is very intriguing to learn that alex is a multi-instrumentalist. he has sung in assembly and at the prize giving as a member of the school choir.

technology

alex’s work this term has been consistently satisfactory, displaying a high level of craftsmanship. his project, where he designed an aeroplane, was of a high standard.

media studies

alex’s extended essay this term focused on the portrayal of cold war paranoia in cinema. he produced some very imaginative work. well done!
